Yuengling Center Seating
Yuengling Center uses different seating configurations depending on the event. Basketball games use the arena bowl around the court, while concerts may add floor seating or use different stage configurations. Lower-level seats generally provide closer elevated views, while floor tickets can put you nearer the stage but may offer less consistent sightlines, so check the event-specific seating chart before buying.
Entry Policies
Yuengling Center uses mobile ticketing and security screening for events. Personal bags must be smaller than 12 × 12 × 12 inches, while backpacks are generally prohibited except for certain medical and parenting bags. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, and the arena has a no-reentry policy.
Camera, sign, and other restrictions can vary by performer or production, so check the venue’s current policies before attending if you plan to bring anything beyond the basics. Concessions and arena retail locations are generally cashless, although merchandise policies can vary by event.
Parking & Getting There
Yuengling Center is located on the University of South Florida campus in North Tampa, just south of East Fowler Avenue. Driving is the most common option for visitors, with event parking available in lots around the arena and surrounding campus area.
Because you’re entering an active university campus rather than a standalone entertainment district, allow extra time to navigate campus roads and find the correct event parking area, particularly for larger concerts and popular USF games. Event parking is generally first-come, first-served, and availability and pricing can vary by event.
Accessibility
Accessible seating is available throughout Yuengling Center, with locations varying by event configuration. Accessible parking, assistive listening devices, mobility accommodations, and other services are also available. Guests who need specific accommodations should review the venue’s current accessibility information before attending.
About Yuengling Center
The arena opened in 1980 as the USF Sun Dome. The facility has since undergone extensive renovations, including replacement of its original inflatable roof with a permanent structure and substantial interior upgrades.
Yuengling Center became the arena’s name in 2018. Today, its primary sports tenants include the University of South Florida men’s and women’s basketball teams and USF volleyball, while the venue also hosts concerts and other touring entertainment.
