Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of Australian singer, songwriter, and producer Kevin Parker, who writes, records, and produces nearly all of the project’s music himself. Formed in Perth in 2007, Tame Impala became one of the defining acts of modern psychedelic rock and indie music with acclaimed albums like Innerspeaker (2010), Lonerism (2012), Currents (2015), and The Slow Rush (2020). Known for blending dreamy psychedelic sounds with synth-pop, electronic, and rock influences, the project gained worldwide recognition through hits such as “Let It Happen,” “The Less I Know the Better,” and “Borderline.” Parker’s innovative production style and genre-blending creativity have made Tame Impala one of the most influential alternative music acts of the past decade.
